SSET pneumatic forging hammer from 50kg to 2000kg are widely used in open die forging for general forging works, such as drawing-out, upsetting, punching, chiseling, forging welding, bending and twisting. It is also used for forging in bolster dies.
You can forge heavy stock and immediately switch to thin light stock without any adjustments, you have tremendous forging power (a combination of ram weight, downward air force and velocity) plus precise control on our hammer.
SSET hammers were designed to run for decades in harsh factory environments, based on the time proved designs of the old European hammers which are still in use today.
Our hammer do not need external air supply or high pressure hoses. The frames are cast iron, like the old Nazel, Buche, and Massey hammers. Cast iron is more expensive to manufacture compared to fabricated hammers but they are heavier, do not flex over time.
The internal parts are forged steel and precision machined. The drive belts are external to the machine for easy adjustment and away from harmful oil. The crankshaft has large tapered roller bearings set in a case filled with grease.
When the user selects our hammer, the foundation should be rebuilt according to our hammer foundation drawings. The quality specification of anvil should be introduced before put order.
Due to the continuous improvement and development of the company's products, the structure and parameters of the product are subject to change without notice, and the technical documents with equipment shall be taken as the criterion, for your information.
