1. Medium frequency diathermy furnace inductor, also known as through inductor, according to the length and diameter of heating workpiece, inductors are divided into two kinds. Generally speaking, the length of IF diathermic inductor is relatively long (referring to the axial direction of the heating workpiece). Its purpose is to ensure the heating temperature and the suitable temperature difference between the core and the surface when the heating workpiece is constant.

2. The lining assembly form of the intermediate frequency heating sensor is basically of two types: one is a knotted lining, and the other is a fabricated lining.

3. Whether it is knotted furnace lining or fabricated furnace lining, it will change under long-term work at high temperature (It is mainly due to thermal expansion, cold contraction and oxidation.). If used improperly, the phenomenon of collision or extrusion lining of heating workpiece will also occur. Therefore, the service life of the lining has a certain period of time. This depends mainly on the use.

4. Once the intermediate frequency induction heating furnace lining cracks, if it is knotted furnace lining, the crack must be filled with the lining material if the crack does not exceed 2mm. If the crack exceeds 2mm, the lining must be replaced; if it is fabricated lining, it must be replaced. Therefore, users must take measures according to actual conditions, and do not act rashly to cause unnecessary consequences, and burned out the intermediate frequency inductors.

5. During the heating process, many oxide scales will accumulate in the IF inductor. When the lining is damaged or cracked, if it is not cleaned up in time, it is easy to cause short-circuit fire, which causes over-current protection of medium frequency power supply, and easy to break down the inductor coil and cause inter-turn short-circuit of inductor. Therefore, the oxide scale in the IF inductor furnace should be cleaned at least every 8 hours.

6. The coil of medium frequency diathermic inductor is usually water-permeable, and the heat generated is mainly taken away by water cooling. So it is necessary to have enough water flow and pressure in order to ensure that the copper tube of the medium frequency heating inductor flows through enough water. Therefore, the working pressure of cooling water should not be less than 0.2-0.3 MPa, the inlet temperature should be less than 35 C, and the outlet temperature should be less than 55 C. If the water pressure is insufficient, it will cause the induction coil of intermediate frequency heating to gasify or heat up. If not found in time, the copper pipe will burst and water will spill over. And the inductor is working at high temperature, at this time, it is likely to explode, so it is very important to check the cooling water of the inductor in time.

7. When the newly manufactured medium frequency heating inductor is just put into production, it must be baked at low power (generally about 30 kw) after power supply is switched on, and the heating workpiece should be placed in the induction furnace, the baking time is about 2 hours. In the process of debugging, the manufacturer must carry out water test in the sensor. After debugging, there will be residual water in the sensor tube, especially in winter, and it may form very thin ice. So the inductor will be humid. In order to ensure the service life of the furnace lining, the newly put-into-production medium frequency heater must be baked for 2 hours at low power.

8. The water-cooled guide rail in the medium frequency heating inductor is actually the working track of the heating workpiece, which has been working at high temperature. If the water supply is insufficient or the water pressure is insufficient, the guide rail will be gasified, burned red and deformed, so the heated workpiece cannot pass through the inductor. Therefore, the water cooling of the guide rail is also very important.

9. Water-cooled guide rails will wear out in the course of use, so these rails have a certain life. Generally, the wall thickness of the water-cooled guide rail is 2 mm. If the wear is excessive, it must be replaced. Otherwise, once water leaks, it will cause rapid cooling of furnace lining and cause accidents.

10. Dry rails (not water pass) must be replaced once they are worn or deformed. It is forbidden to use the furnace lining as a guide rail for the heating workpiece. Anyway, the IF diathermic inductor must be inspected while observing it during use. If problems are found, they should be handled in a timely manner. Only in this way can the sensor be used normally without affecting production.
